Two injured in road mishap
A resident of Bird Line and another riding pillion suffered injuries in a road mishap last Sunday. In the statement to the Police, the victim, a 24 year old private worker, Amit Sikdar said that at around 6.30 pm while travelling towards Kamraj Nagar on a motorcycle along with his friend, Sethu Pathi, a Bolero Jeep hit them from the rear. Both fell down on the road and sustained injuries. The driver of the jeep then dropped the injured to Bird Line from where a PCR vehicle took them to Garacharma Health Centre.

Chaos at Chatham Jetty
Chaos was witnessed at Chatham Jetty on Tuesday when two private bus driver engaged in a heated argument over accommodating more passengers. As per reports, both the bus drivers operating between Chatham and Ranchi Basti abused each other in filthy language giving two hoots to the fact that there were women passengers on board the buses. There was traffic jam in the area for few minutes till traffic official resolved the argument. Source, however, informed that both the drivers engaged in reckless driving overtaking each other during their commute to Ranchi Basti.
