Pt. Nehru remembered

Leaders of the Pradesh Congress Committee, A & N Islands observed the 53rd death  anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the architect of modern India and the first Prime Minister of India,  at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday. The PCC president, Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma has garlanded the portrait of Pdt. Jawaharlal Nehru  followed by floral tribute by all party  leaders, PRI  &  PBMC members,  functionaries of Mahila Congress, Pradesh Seva  Dal,  Youth Congress, INTUC, NSUI,  workers and  general public   present in the function.  In his brief speech, Mr Kuldeep has stated that this is an occasion for all of us to recall Nehru’s struggle and contribution and also to reaffirm our commitment to the principles espoused by Pt Nehru who was a creative thinker leader, global statesman, institution builder and a profound humanist who blended rate imagination with intense expediency.
