SA Police cracks theft cases, two juveniles apprehended

The South Andaman Police have solved two theft cases registered last month. On July  20, two burglary cases were lodged at PS Hut Bay regarding breaking of doors and almirahs of Tehsil Office, DSS Ticket counter and a Computer Centre (TVETC) in the intervening night of July 19 and 20 in an attempt to commit theft by unknown person. Upon this a team consisting of HCs Paresh Ch. Das, K.M.Mustafa, Rashik Lal Mondal, PCs Pawan, Ramesh, HGs Amit and Sanju led by Inspr. Vishal Ram, SHO PS Hut Bay swung into action and interrogated suspected persons and made all possible efforts and finally on August 15 the local police succeeded in apprehending two persons involved in the crime who were identified as juveniles in conflict with law.
The South Andaman Police have requested the public to pass on credible information about anti-social elements on 100 (PCR) or respective Police Station on 03192-232400 (PS Aberdeen), 03192-250525 (PS Pahargaon), and 03192-232232 (PS Chatham), 03192-284208 (PS Hutbay).
