Scintillating March Past by ANP marks Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

An impressive March Past by all contingents of the Andaman and Nicobar Police (ANP), National Disaster Response Force, NCC Cadets marked observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on Tuesday. The display of the united forces was held from Dugong Guest House to Government Press here to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Director General of Police, Smt Nuzhat Hassan, took the salute of the parade in the presence of other senior officials of the Andaman and Nicobar Police Force. Contingents from the Andaman and Nicobar Police, Fire Services, National Disaster Response Force, NCC Cadets and Police Band participated in the march past.
Earlier in the morning, an oath taking ceremony on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was held at the Police Headquarters. The Director General of Police, A & N Islands, administered the oath to all staff of Police Headquarters in the presence of the Inspector General of Police, Superintendent of Police (PMF) and Superintendent of Police (HQ). Similarly oaths were also administered in all the units of  the A & N Police.
