Acting on a report published in The Echo of India last month, the management of Syndicate Bank here pressed into action and got the defunct ATM facility at Junglighat back into operation recently. The laid-off facility installed by the bank at Junglighat opposite Goenka’s showroom had been causing inconvenience to scores of bank customers in and around the region. The management, however, responded promptly to the report and customers of Syndicate Bank mostly employed in the Municipal Council are now breathing a sigh of relief.
EOI in its edition on June 19 this year, reported the poor functioning of Syndicate Bank’s ATM network was drawing flak for the institution for the past few weeks. The bank has four ATM installations in the city, all of which have failed to provide necessary service to its customers. Many customers reported about the problems being faced by them as the bank’s management had failed to ensure reliable ATM services to its customers.
