TMC delegation meets PCCF

A delegation of Trinamool Congress, A & N Islands led by state president, Mr P. Cheaku along with Mr Raja Gopal working president, Mr  Aboobacker general secretary and Mr Gopesh Biswas vice president, met the PCCF A&N Islands Mr Tharun Coomer and discussed filling up of vacant posts of Forest Guards, Foresters and Forest Rangers for which applications/resumes were invited during 2013, 2015 and 2016. The delegation also raised the issue of vacant posts in industrial establishment of different forest divisions, grant of 1/30th wages to daily wages Mazdoor, who completed 240 days of continues service, appointment on compassionate grounds for which at least 50 cases are pending with the department and ignoring seniority cases of Mazdoor while regular appointments  made in Havelock Campbell bay and Baratang divisions. Giving a patient hearing, the PCCF assured  to take immediate action to fill up all the vacant posts of forest  executive subordinate staff industrial employees and regarding daily  wages Mazdoor for wages and seniority will be settled by the end of September this year.
