Tourist drowned at North Bay

While thousands of domestic and foreign tourists return with pleasant memories of the scenic Andaman and Nicobar Islands, but unfortunately for some, a trip to some exotic locations here takes a tragic turn. In a latest incident, a tourist from Nagpur lost his life after drowning in the sea at North Bay on Monday.
According to sources, Vinit Sohan Papade, 27 years, son of Ashok Chander Das Papade went for an adventure water sports activity at North Bay today in the morning hours. After undertaking the sport, the instructor reportedly dropped him at the North Bay sea shore and escorted another visitor for the activity. However, the victim went missing from the sea shore and was later found dead. The body was sent to the Community Health Centre, Bambooflat for autopsy which, sources say, reported that the tourist died due to drowning.
