Tree falls damaging parked car at GBPH

With southwest monsoon making landfall in the South Andaman region, strong winds damaged a four-wheeler parked in the premises of GB Pant Hospital here after a tree crashed on it on Saturday. The car, a tourist vehicle, had the registration number AN01M1892. As per eye-witnesses, the tree swayed violently in the winds before toppling over and crashing on the tourist vehicle.  Fire fighters reached the spot and removed the fallen tree from the damaged car. With the help of modern equipment, the debris was cleared  from the spot to avert any further damages, as per reports.
