Trng on cashless transaction

A training on “Financial Literacy, Digital and Cashless Transaction” for the students of Government Senior Secondary School, Oralkatcha, Middle Andaman was organized by the Sundergarh Gram Panchayat in coordination with the Department of Home Science, JNRM.  The training  was inaugurated by Mr K.Murali Shankar, Divisional Forest Officer, Baratang, Middle Andaman.
In his address, Mr Shankar said that, the Digital and Cashless transaction is the need of the hour and under one umbrella all services are available to the stakeholders. The main purpose of this cashless and paperless transaction is to bring out transparency in various transaction especially which involve large amount of public money. He appreciated Professor K.Venkatesan, JNRM HOD for making such extensive activities to reach the scheme and awareness to the unreached.
The guest of honour, Pradhan, Sundergarh Gram Panchayat, Mr Biju Gurudasan said this is the first of its kind of programme is happening in under this panchayat. He requested Mr Venkatesan to organize such trainings for the rural women in the future and thanked JNRM.  Mr K Venkatesan, HOD, Home science explained the significance of financial literacy and the students role in achieving the vision of our forefather to make corruption free India for which Digital India certainly pave the way for  achieving it. The various direct benefit transfer schemes and BetiBachaoBetiPadao, SuknyaSurakshaYojana also explained students through powerpoint presentation and videos.
Smt M.V.Jolly, Vice Principal incharge also spoke about the benefits of the cashless transfer. Smt Shanta Raj, GTT, proposed the vote of thanks.
