Written exams for recruitment of Patwari on April 15

The Revenue Department will conduct recruitment of Patwari which will be held on April 15 this year. The written examination shall be held in South Andaman, Little Andaman, Rangat, Mayabunder, Diglipur, Car Nicobar and Campbell Bay. Altogether, 20,875 online applications have been received by this office.  The written examination shall be conducted in an extremely free and fair manner. The A & N Administration has made 62 examination centres all across the Islands for smooth conduct of the examination.  Further, general public is cautioned that they should not pay heed to any miscommunication/rumours. If any such rumour is found, it should be brought to the knowledge of District Administration for action against the individual on phone no. 9434280018/03192-233381. Further, it is brought to the information of the candidates who are appearing for the written examination shall strictly follow instructions like mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, books etc  or any other communication devices will not be allowed inside the examination centers. Any infringements of these instructions shall  entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations, candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, books etc or any other communication devices to the examination centre.
Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre with any such item,  candidate should reach the examination centre between 9.00 am to 9.15 am and be present in the examination centre at 9.30 am on the day of examination. No candidate will be allowed to the examination centre after 9.30 am, candidates must bring in original a photo-bearing identify card such as Islander Card, Pan card, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar card etc issued by  the  competent authority, Question paper carries negative marking 0.25 marks which will be deducted for each wrong answer, all other instructions are briefly elaborated in the Admit Card which may be referred. If anyone found to be indulge in any of these instructions stern action as per IPC shall be taken and ban on appearing in future examinations conducted by the A & N Administration shall be imposed.  For any clarification, one can contact the District Control Room No.238881/9434280018.
