According to reports, the agency is in the process of installing necessary equipment at the allotted government department for the milk collection centre which is likely to start operations from April 1. Speaking to this correspondent, an official of the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Department posted here informed that almost all procedures are in the final stages and the facility will start serving the population here from April 1.
The Echo of India, in its edition on March 24, reported that livestock owners in Rangat and adjoining villages are being deprived of the benefits of ANIIDCO’s  milk collection initiative since 2014. Despite allotment of a government premises to ANIIDCO at Rangat, the agency had failed to bring the facility into operation for the benefit of the needy population.
