Land donors of Sikkim want permanent jobs

The Land Donors’ Association of Sikkim has demanded permanent jobs for members of families of land donors. At a meeting of the Association on Tuesday a resolution was passed
Pointing out that the State government had made an announcement to provide a job to one member of the family of a land donor, it was decided that the Association would collect data on donation of land and place it before the Government so that it could fulfil the promise.
The meeting of the Association was organized at Mangshila Gram Vikash Kendra under the stewardship of State president of the Association N. S. Gurung. Such meetings are going on all over the State. Senior citizen Karma Gyatso Bhutia, a land donor of north Sikkim for the construction of  a school, was present in the meeting. The North Sikkim Land Donors Association was formed with Karma Chopel Bhutia as president.
