Training programme on life support

The Foundation for Research in Community Health with the support of NHM, Government of Sikkim, had organized two days of retraining programme on diabetes, hypertension and basic life support at Rangpo public health centre. The total number of participants was 46. Experienced social activists from Maharashtra Kavita Papal and Pushpa Jadav gave an insight on their experience on diabetes and hypertension care and control of their last project at Parincha village, Pune district. Local community health workers got new enthusiasm and motivation to work for the betterment of the society. Dr Manoj Mishra of Rangpo PHC, Dr Diki from Singtam district hospital and Dr Amitava Acharyya, research officer in Foundation for Research in Community Health participated as resource persons of the training programme.
