Forest officials bust fake recruitment racket

Belakoba forest range officer Sanjay Dutt and his team have busted a racket involved in fooling people by issuing false appointment letters in the name of Additional Chief Secretary, Forest, PCCF (HOFF).
Forest officials apprehended three persons involved in the case and recovered Rs 66 000/ form trio. All three has been handed over to Rajgang police under Jalpaiguri district last night.
The arrested three persons are Pradip Ghosh of Dumdum Kolkata, Bikram Kumar Singha of Malda and Subham Kumar Dhali of Matigara, Siliguri. Dutta informed that the case was reported to him since few months back and accordingly he mobilized his resources to track the offenders.
He said, “The message was also available with the CID but in course of my endeavour, I could track down the nefarious racket. I arrested them and their relatives were mesmerizing.The racket spread across the state spotting and luring the unemployed. Their dealings amounted to lakhs. The money used to be sent in cigarette cases. They even had agents for the task. The racket even delivered uniforms to the candidates.” The accused are being handed over to Rajganj police as the offence involves sections of CRPC. Dutta further informed that Sujit Saha resident of Hakimpara Siliguri is the main culprits involved in the case who controls the racket from Kolkata to Siliguri since last five years. Along with him Raju Pal of Sukantapally Siliguri, Tapas Poddar of Botolbari, Soumya Biswas of Malda and Bimal Das alias Biman Das of Alambazar,Kolkata are also involved.
