No dearth for development for north Bengal

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today once again blamed the ruling BJP at the centre for allegedly doing politicians with development and said there was no need to go to Delhi for any support for her government. She also said there was  no need to visit New Delhi for any support as her government has sufficient funds for development.
“They only do politics but no work and we believe in work, we have done developments in our tenure,'' the chief minister said in her speech at a function at Siliguri.
She left for Darjeeling immediately after the programme.
She also said among new projects there were township hub at Kurseong, Circit Bench of High Court in Jalpaiguri, New airport connection in Malda and Balurghat that were coming up soon.
The Chief Minister also said funds for Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Department, Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority and developmental departments has been raised after her government came into power.
Before leaving for Darjeeling she delivered her speech in Hindi saying, “Aaplog Acha Se Rahiye, Shant Se Rahiye, Darjeeling Ka Problem Bhi Jo Vi Hai Development Ka Hum Isko Solve Kar Denge.” (Maintain peace...... we are with you for development.)
Earlier she was welcomed by around 100 people of various communities from North Bengal including Darjeeling and Kalimpong hills.
She presented Banga Ratna to nine persons of different fields from arts and culture
