Siliguri: BJP rallies in protest against Baduria incident

Bharitya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday marched on Hill Cart Road in Siliguri to mark protest against the Baduria incident.
A huge police force and Rapid Action personnel were deployed when the BJP rally started from Hasmi Chowk. Police force was also deployed in sensitive areas to prevent any untoward incident after the rally.
The rally marched under the leadership of party’s West Bengal state leaders including Pratap Banerjee. He said, “There is no legal system in the state, we are being attacked and the government is silent and doing a selfish politics so the rally was to protest such governance by the Trinamool Congress.
The rally gathered at Hashmi Chowk and walked around Hill Cart Road, Sevoke More and Pani Tanki More. Leaders and workers from the Siliguri Organizational District Committee were also present in the demonstration. (EOIC)
