Siliguri gets Italian cafe

A new restaurant and coffee shop has come up in the city with authentic Italian food and beverages claims to be first of its kid in North Bengal.
‘The Coffee Shop’ Cafe Italiano was inaugurated in Siliguri’s Vega Circle Mall by deputy commissioner Income Tax, Norbu Bhutia on Sunday.
Although there are numerous multi cuisine restaurants in Siliguri but ‘The Coffee Shop’ serves fully specialised single cuisine recipes from Italy.
The shop owned by four young talented partners from Sikkim hopes that the customers of North Bengal will definitely like the foods and the ambience and recommends others to visit their shops.
Amit Patro, one of the partner said, “We have tried our best to satisfy our customers here also after our two ventures in Gangtok and Sikkim have gained popularity already.”
T T Bhutia another partner said, “This is the first authentic Italian restaurant in North Bengal with cooks and staffs having well trained and experienced in preparing Italian foods for more than six years.”
The other two partners Tashi Damdus and Gyurme told that in this football festive season customers can also enjoy coffee and foods by watching live football world cup matches in a giant screen.
Deepika Sarita, a fashion choreographer who visited the shop said, “It’s the best place for coffee and shakes with authentic Italian food in Siliguri with stunning interior and excellent service. I really loved the food prepared here.” (EOIC)
