Trinamool Congress cannot retain panchayet success earned by rigging : JP Nadda

9 Oct 2018

Rigging and terror that helped Trinamool Congress in winning the panchayet polls in the state cannot be repeated in the Lok Sabha elections, said Union minister for health and family welfare, J. P. Nadda today at a party meeting.
Nadda has been touring different districts of North Bengal to hold political meetings with party leaders and workers.
According to insiders Nadda told party workers that voters would cast their votes freely as the Election Commission would arrange for an environment for free and fair election in the state.
He was accorded a grand reception by BJP workers before an organizational meeting today.
“Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress are now synonymous with corruption. They are trying to muffle the opposition voices threatening people with police action. Such anarchy would not continue for long,” the minister said.
He claimed that thousands of people were joining BJP every day to get rid of the  ‘misrule by Trinamool Congress.’
“We are taking the atrocities by Mamata Banerjee government on the national forum. We are sure that the people of West Bengal are ready to defeat Trinamool and welcome BJP if they are allowed to vote freely. The state is ready for a political change yet again for a better future,” Nadda said. (EOIC)
