As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility activities, State Bank of India extended donation of Rs 69,41,672 to Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Purulia to enable them to install a water treatment plant at Bandhbahal in Purulia District. Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairman, handed over the donation cheque to Swami Jnanalokananda, Secretary of the Mission in presence of Bank's Kolkata Circle Chief General Manager Partha Pratim Sengupta and other top executives of the Bank recently at a function held at Bank's Kolkata Local Head Office. Around 20000 villagers in and around the area will be benefitted from the project
